NEW MISSOURI CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICTS – CUTS BOONE COUNTY IN HALF between District 3 (south)and 4 (north) Line goes along West Broadway in the city, I-70 outside Columbia. The governor signed the plan Wednesday. It is in effect now.

HB1878-passed to governor’s desk-

  • Requires unexpired government-issued photo ID to vote.

  • Bans drop boxes

  • Bans touchscreen voting machines

  • Eliminates presidential primary in MO (party will decide)

  • Requires voters to designate political party or unaffiliated when registering to vote.

  • Prohibits local election authorities from contacting voters who made mistakes on their absentee ballot envelopes (as forgetting to sign envelope or have it notarized)

  • Can vote absentee w/o an excuse for 2 wks before

  • People or groups who want to register more than 10 people must register w/ the SOS.

  • CONTACT the governor and ask him to veto HB1878
